Construction at The Courtyard at Delta, the area’s newest assisted living and memory care community, is well underway at 350 South Marketplace Blvd. in Lansing, Michigan. The Courtyard will feature 53 brand new, larger-than-most, one-bedroom and studio assisted living apartment homes and 32 memory care apartment homes, around-the-clock caregiving help, a robust activity program, dining, housekeeping, and scheduled transportation services.
In preparation for welcoming residents in early 2025, The Courtyard’s temporary information center is now open at 635 East Saginaw Highway in Grand Ledge. Older adults and their family members are encouraged to plan for the near future by attending one of two upcoming educational programs about the various care options available to seniors over a complimentary luncheon or dinner and an informal Q and A on Tuesday, May 21 at 11:30a.m. or Wednesday, May 29 at 5:30p.m. Seating is limited so please RSVP online at thecourtyardatdelta.com.
Tucked in behind The Marketplace at Delta Township, near convenient shopping and with easy access from both I69 and 43/West Saginaw, The Courtyard at Delta will offer both assisted living and memory care services plus comfortable homes, convenient amenities, an engaging lifestyle, and peace of mind for area seniors and their families.
As the community’s name implies, The Courtyard at Delta’s private residences and amenities surround two beautiful and expansive courtyard gardens with access to walking paths and seating areas, so residents and their guests are always close to the great outdoors. These signature, al fresco focal points will be designed and landscaped by Lansing’s own Horrock’s Nursery Farms.
Expanding upon the natural views, The Courtyard at Delta interior designer, Judy Biberian of JRI Interior Design says, “The color palette of the interiors complements the warm greens of nature that will be found throughout the courtyards, with accents of blues, warm golds, and rusts.” In addition to preserving continuity with nature, the interior design team planned intentional, well-integrated variety and bold color choices that work together to balance functional needs and the comforts of home into the community’s aesthetic.
Van Auker also counts the ability to conveniently socialize with neighbors as one of the biggest benefits senior living offers, saying that “social opportunities will abound with neighbors who are available for card games, exercise, special events, and dining companionship.” From morning fitness classes and themed events, to music under the stars and bus trips, to local attractions, The Courtyard at Delta residents will be able to choose activities that are meaningful to them from a variety of options.
SarahKate Van Auker welcomes guests at The Courtyard at Delta information center, which is now open at 635 East Saginaw Hwy. in Grand Ledge. Please arrange for an appointment or RSVP for an event by emailing [email protected], calling (517) 775-6217, or visiting online at thecourtyardatdelta.com.
