Marie Lynn is our new Regional VP of Operations for Ohio and Michigan and starts today!
Marie Lynn Wieland joined Encore Senior Living with a wide array of hospitality and healthcare experience that dates back to her childhood. Having grown up in a second-generation, family-run motel, Marie Lynn honed her customer relations skills and learned to form connections with others at a young age.
Fast forward a few decades, and she continues to foster professional relationships and develop a culture of respect and trust with her colleagues and customers. She calls senior living “my true professional home” and works to help ensure that Encore Senior Living communities are a place of warmth, creativity, and passion. An advocate for her teams, residents, and families, Marie Lynn is profoundly committed to serving those around her and mentoring new leaders.
When she isn’t serving seniors, Marie Lynn enjoys spending time with her husband, visiting the many Michigan beaches, or attending her three busy teenagers’ events.
Fun Fact: Marie Lynn completed her post-graduate work at Michigan State University and is a Spartans sports fan through and through.
First Job: Her first job (outside of the motel) was in a locally-owned insurance agency, where she stuffed and sorted mail after school.
