Over the holidays, the Heritage House Visiting Booth
got a LOT of media attention.
Television and newspaper coverage confirmed that residents and families are super grateful for the gift of in-person visits thanks to Heritage House’s team effort.
Heritage House resident Jeanette Lambert’s granddaughter, Chelsea Lambert, called their Christmas Eve visit “a huge blessing!”
Heritage House Activity Director Sue Jensen, who conceived the idea, her husband, Chris Jensen, who constructed the booth, and Heritage House Marketing Director Paula Barans, who wholly supported the project, were all interviewed about the visiting booth benefits on television.
Paula says the visiting booth is so popular that it’s booked for the next few weeks and will continue welcoming family visits until in-person visits resume. Paula and Sue are already planning Valentine’s themed decorations!
Be assured, Heritage House has safety protocols in place. Visitors are limited to two at a time and undergo temperature checks and complete health questionnaires before heading to the dedicated, outdoor visiting booth entrance. Everyone wears face coverings, and visitors are separated by a plexiglass wall enclosure. The space is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between each guest visit.
